David got his start in the art of persuasion in 1993. It was then that David met Bryan Dodge, a national professional and personal development speaker and consultant. The company was Results Inc , a company that promoted sales training, time management, goal setting, and communication skills. This time period was critical for David as he got to learn from some of the best in the world including Bryan Tracy, Jim Rohn, and Tony Robbins. To make a long story short, David was a top-sales producer in the B2B arena for many years. Professional sales requires the ability to identify with a clients challenges, create a solution and present it persuasively. More than ever in the modern day, business communications are heavily geared towards emails and writing out detailed proposals.
This was a tool that David took with him when he joined SUCCESS Magazine in 2009 as the Advertising Manager. The heavy emphasis on writing good ads for clients, detailed proposals to ad agencies, furthered his writing skills. Then in 2013 David joined AWAI (American Writers Artists Inc.) an organization that is dedicated to training the best copywriters in the world with training programs in just about every niche you can think of! The skills he already had, combined with the training programs and expertice of the AWAI staff and contributors, has given David the ability to have a lot of success!
In 2015 David and Bryan Dodge joined back up with Bryan's new company Dodge Development Inc. David serves as the Director of Business Development and handles all the copywriting for consulting clients as well as for promotion of the company. They wrote a book together as mentioned above and David joined the esteemed ASJA (American Society of Journalists and Authors), a organization dedicated to professional writers.
